General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

UberID has committed to be and is already in compliance with the Directive 95/46/EC that comes into effect May 25, 2018.

The Directive 95/46/EC, commonly referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation provides essential safeguards for the protection of an individual's private information and how such data will be processed by service providers and covers the rights of ownership, use and transfer.

One of the founding tenets of UberID is that all platform components shall be designed and operate to be in full compliance with Directive 95/46/EC such that no user generated content is ever owned by UberID (and only retained in accordance with statutory-only retention requirements) and that any Member or related user may at any time amend or remove data. The culture of the founders and leaders of UberID is that "your data is your data and never at any time does it belong to UberID".
